• Game Managers: We collect your name, email, and profile picture from your login provider to create your account.
• Players (Runners & Home Base): No account is required. We only collect temporary game data (team selection, game progress).
• Runners: We collect GPS location data only while you are actively participating in a race to track progress.
• Photos you upload to complete checkpoints.

Third-Party Services

GeoRacer uses third-party services for authentication (login providers) and map data (OpenStreetMap, Esri). These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to operate the game. Your location is used to track your progress in real-time and verify checkpoint visits. Your profile information is used to identify you to other players in your game.

Data Sharing

Your location and game progress are shared with other participants in your specific game (e.g., your team, the game manager, and spectators). We do not sell your data to third parties.

Your Rights

You can delete your account at any time. You can also choose not to participate in a game or revoke location permissions on your device, though this will limit game functionality.

Data Deletion

You can request complete deletion of all your data at any time. This includes your account, all games you have created, and any associated data.
